The swb Group supplies the cities of Bremen and Bremerhaven and the surrounding region of northern Germany with energy, water and telecommunications. By generating electricity and heat from the thermal recycling of waste, the company bridges the gap between generation and disposal. Technical services for private households and companies round off the company’s extensive range of services.

Challenge

The company attaches great importance to professional reporting. However, the public’s attention is only really on the report at the time it is published, so the company refrains from printing it.

Solution

For two years now, the annual report has been published in a web-compatible landscape format. It is therefore easy to read on computer screens and other electronic devices. Sophisticated user navigation makes for a comfortable reading experience.

One share gives the state of Bremen control of the business. The company is owned by the fourth largest energy supplier in Germany, EWE, based in Oldenburg.
