More than four centuries of private banking

Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KGAnnual report

The privately-owned bank Berenberg can trace its origins back to the 16th century. It is one of the oldest banks in the world and caters to wealthy private investors and families. In recent years the bank has undergone a dynamic shift. With its 1,500 employees, the company focuses on four core business divisions, including investment banking.

Sometimes the scope for design is somewhat limited, especially for a bank that offers its customers discretion. Nevertheless, solutions for good communication can still be found.

In recent years, the bank decided to implement a value cycle spanning several years and to integrate a magazine into the report, which also spans several years.

Nr. 2

Only the bank Monte dei Paschi di Siena (going since 1472) is older than Berenberg.
